My dad flew through Dubai today. He transitted via there about 2 weeks ago on his way out before this all started.

They were sat in the departure airport yesterday to Dubai for about 17 hours waiting for their flight to Dubai to be able to depart. Once they got there this morning the airport was shut down for several hours again while they all sat and listened to explosions in the distance which going by news reports were drones being shot down.

They eventually took off from Dubai about 7 hours after they were meant to.
