-All eyes will be on Easton Cowan Monday as Toronto's top prospect is expected to make his NHL debut. What is maybe a little unexpected is where he's projected to line up, as he practiced alongside Matthews and Knies at practice on Sunday

Looking forward to see if Cowen can do on the 1st line instead of the 4th line.

Pittburgh use to do this all the time, put their best prospects inlines 1-2. And got great results!

Go Leafs Go!!!

In theory, Matthews-Knies should be good enough that almost anyone with a pulse could play the RW. In reality, with Matthews possibly << peak Matthews, who knows. Will be very curious to see how it looks.

I love when they have these rare early face offs that are peak UK time… and it clashes with me being out to watch Northern Ireland v Germany in a World Cup qualifier instead.

Sake.

NHL need to pay more attention to their scheduling.

Game was supposed to be at 4pm/EST but got moved thanks to the Jays. :D

This is probably the best Cowan has looked factoring in his preseason efforts and this game.

....and then Detroit goes down easy for the first PP in a game the Leafs have been controlling.
