They lost to Montreal and Columbus too, who were not goon squads the way the other Atlantic teams the Leafs have washed out against. The playoff 'rules' have been maybe the most consistent thing about the NHL.

I was a little surprised to learn today that the Leafs have the most 5-on-5 goals in the league so far this season, and Nylander leads all players in 5-on-5 points (with JT and Knies tied for 2nd with a bunch of other players).

If their PP was even kinda working things would be a lot calmer in Leafs-land (overall defence would still be a problem of course).
