There's going to be some non-credible negotiation "breakthrough" that averts it. But yeah, it's completely unhinged and insane. I think most countries of the world would remove a president/prime minister as unhinged as this one.

I hope you are right.
His 2016 cabinet had people who would stand up to him and not let him nuke a hurricane or whatever.
This cabinet is made up of sycophants or people who are afraid of him.
His numbers are in free fall. The price of gas damage, economic issues and polls could be so bad no amount of the election cheating he has planned will be able to overcome it for the midterms unless something dramatically changes.
Trump is all about Trump and now he's getting desperate. He frequently cheats at golf.
He'll do whatever he perceives is best for him, To me, that makes him dangerous,

Besides that, Trump's not the only factor here. The facts on the ground (Iran's and Israel's incentives) all point to there being no way out for the US, and this thing getting worse and worse. If Trump were 25th amendement-ed today, you'd still need to get someone in the line of succession to negotiate a settlement with Iran while Israel keeps blowing up the negotiators.
