Series 40: Tigers at Jays

Sanchez and Osuna look so composed coming in as the one-two shutdown crew.  And it is great to see Edwin continue his hit streak.  Nice defence, solid pitching and that offence......  ;D

I agree with pitching crew.

The highlights for me were some pretty awesome defensive plays from Tulo, Smoak, and Goins.
 
Another tidy win.  Keep 'em coming, boys.  I had to rewind my broadcast to confirm that I saw a fan wearing a Thole jersey.  Somebody paid money for a Thole jersey.  Wow.  Speaking of whom, he just got sent down to make room for Hutch pitching today.

Earlier this month I swear I caught a Jesse Carlson jersey on t.v. I'm not sure which one is worse. I'm almost inclined to believe that those are jerseys with that person's own name on the back which is coincidentally the same name as a Blue Jay.
 
Last night was the first Jays game I've had the chance to watch in ages. They've not been a fashionable side to be shown often on TV in the UK. I was really impressed with the swagger in the side. Hope they can keep it up.

 
Encarnacion with a hatttrick and 9 RBIs.  The fans keep throwing hats on the field.  I love this team.
 
This team doesn't just beat you. They thoroughly dominate you. I don't know if I've ever seen a team that consistently put this kind of hurt on their opponents.
 
I wonder how many teams outside of the steroid era have had three guys with 35+ HR and 100+ RBI. Off the top of my head I can't think of too many and the Jays could definitely get there if EE keeps this up.
 
This is pretty crazy, any teams in recent memory that have dominated like this so consistently?

This is the first Jays game my wife has ever watched, send cash and I'll make sure she keeps tuning in.  ;D

His month is insane.  10 home runs and 34 RBIs.  He has actually passed Bautista in RBIs.  Donaldson with 35/104, Bautista with 31/88 and Encarnacion 30/90.  Absolutely devastating.
