If he says this about Max Domi I’ll know he’s full of poop.
He's traded Max once before.

I don't care what he does to get him off the team. Buy out, drop him off in the woods, send him on a rocket... Whatever. He's traded Max once before.![]()
He did fight the Gudas. I don't know who else would have. His skill set in absolute shit, but if we're not going to be competitive, I don't mind him on the team.I don't care what he does to get him off the team. Buy out, drop him off in the woods, send him on a rocket... Whatever.

Meh. I don't care. He's otherwise useless. I can't stand him.He did fight the Gudas. I don't know who else would have. His skill set in absolute shit, but if we're not going to be competitive, I don't mind him on the team.
At least we got a 1st for him, but yes, Berube should be long gone by now, keep him for next season is a huge mistake, we don't have any picks to tank for.Watching Roy look great for Colorado....fire the flipping coach already
and Vegas isn't allowing that conversation lolSo Edmonton is trying to talk to Cassidy and hasn't fired their own head coach.
So things are just as stable there as they are here it seems.
I love how Vegas is the shadiest franchise in the league but somehow is a model everyone should follow.and Vegas isn't allowing that conversation lol

I hate that this is a thing. Keeping a bad asset only to fire it after it makes your team worse shouldn't be viewed like this. Like I get it if you have a successful coach and they fire them after the team underperforms despite past success but Berube's metrics are all terrible. Keeping him to only fire him after they ruined the season should be viewed as a negative and not a mulliganThe Sundin/Chayka regime needs a mulligan...Berube is their mulligan.
I get the concept but we don't have room to be be bad again next year. Even if you draft McKenna, trade Matthews, Nylander and set us back 10 years. And with 2 own traded unprotect 1st rounders in the next 2 years. The Sundin/Chayka regime needs a mulligan...Berube is their mulligan.

No, we need a change and we need now. Berube style is not working.
Does he know how the new regime feels about onions?
