This is probably every bit the trap game as the Utah one. A tough 4 game road trip and now the first game back home with a more important division game against up next

A lot of bigger guns out of the lineup for the Wild.
Top centre, 2nd best winger, 2nd best defenceman. Marcus Johansson is also strangely having a career season at the age of 35 so that's not nothing either.

Another thing to note about Minny is that their insane goaltending duo of Gustavsson and Wallstedt have come back to earth. Prior to January 1st this season they had the 2nd best overall save percentage in the league just behind Colorado. Since January 1st though after 8 games they sit 25th.

Quillan got the call up and would probably be an improvement over Jarnkrok and even Cowan right now. So naturally, I expect him to watch from the pressbox.

But Knies is skipping practice again and is a game-time decision; he has been a drag on Tavares' wing, eh... they're mutually dragging each other, so maybe Laughton gets bumped up.

That's not a Berube move. Laughton plays 4th line minutes and not a second more. Robertson plays 10-12 minutes regardless of how hes playing. Myers gets 8000 chances to prove that he isn't an NHL defenseman.

Knies has 4 points in his last 8 games, and went pointless in 6 of those games. Since December 1st he's been playing at a 50-point pace after putting up 20 points in his first 22 games. Obviously something's up there. And with the way so many of the wingers lower in the line-up (especially McMann) are finally performing well there's no reason he should be playing through injuries that are impacting him this much.
