Similar scoring rates, and has a similar "reputation" or background as Parenteau. Might be a better indicator of value than guys like Ladd/Staal/Hudler who are also scoring at about the same pace but are generally more highly regarded players.
So a former 2nd rounder and a conditional 5th. Corey Pronman rated Zykov LA's 4th best prospect coming into the season. Doesn't seem to be having a great rookie season in the AHL though.

I think versteeg is going to play for every nhl team twice before his career is over.

I'll say it. I think the reports of a soft market were bang on. Ladd so far is the only trade where I was even a little surprised with the strength of the return.

It's not a super strong sellers market, but I wouldn't call it a soft one, either. It's a pretty normal market.
