Game Notes
FLA
-Sergei Bobrovsky will likely start for the Panthers
-I had to take a break in between typing out the list of Florida's injuries. That's tanking done right
TOR
-Joseph Woll will likely start for the Leafs
-Stand by for the morning skate to find out if rookies Villeneuve and/or Tverberg find their way into the line-up for this game
-This will be Toronto's biggest must-lose game since the Matthews tank year. One of Toronto and Florida could easily find their way into the 5th last position in the standings, with this game likely deciding which team finishes lower

Obviously the draft lottery is going to do heavy lifting for anyone from 4th to 10th in terms of whether they finish bottom 5, but this is as must lose of a game as the Leafs have had all year.

I fully expect Jarnkrok to play and get top 6 minutes because we honestly might have the stupidest organization in the league.

That Florida injury list is insane.
I know that Nylander is the kind of doing things his own way, but noone can convince me that he isn't hurt. He was banged up all year. He's showing absolutely none of his explosive speed.

We know Knies knee is banged up.

We know OEL has had about 15 different injuries.

McCabe has been hurt for chunks of the year and got noticeably worse in January after being hurt.

Take those 4 out of the lineup and that's basically the same list as Florida.

The fact that Florida is blatantly shutting down guys who are hurt and we are just continuing to play guys is yet another indictment on this franchise.

Yes, we should actually be doing that, but, reasons 🤷
