Whenever I see semin I'm always amazed he's still in the NHL.

I figured he was a lock to abandon his contract at some point and be KHL bound.

He already did at the beginning of his career and decided to come back. He's getting $7M per to barely show up for the Canes. He's not going to get more than that in the KHL.

Kulemin and Clarkson have looked pretty good in the offensive zone tonight. Imagine how much better they'd look with Holland between them. And, honestly, you don't lose a lot of defensive ability in terms of 5 on 5 play going to Holland instead of McClement, but you get a lot more offence.
