I'm not watching the game tonight, but the endless sarcasm at anything at all positive is getting to be a bore.

Yep, Carlyle's an idiot, Bozak sucks at hockey and the team showing faith in Bernier is really just them being mean to Reimer.

He does, since he was a big part of Kessel getting the puck in the first place. It's just that the MLSE PR team that are Joe Bowen, Greg Millen and Bob McGill have been a little over the top in how much credit they're giving him. More than anything else, that goal was cause by Ward not really paying attention.

I do love some of the coaching staff's decisions, though. Lupul with Kessel and JvR on the PP isn't really working - let's stick with that. The line of Lupul-Holland-Raymond has been the team's most productive for 3 weeks - let's change that up.

There's definitely things I would like to see changed on the PP too, but it's hard to argue the results right now. 4th best powerplay in the league. 9th best in the month of December.

I might run a 3rd forward unit on the PP of Kulemin-Bozak-Raymond. Keep the TOI down for the bigger offensive threats and spread the high quality offensive time around. It might help spark a couple guys.
