They need to manage OT better. Nylander was gassed, Matthews was gassed, Marner was gassed. They spent all their energy GETTING the team to OT.
Now, having said that, Domi was not gassed and he didn't play that well. I might have leaned on Jarnkr?k instead, maybe even Robertson who has an OT winner. Interesting that Tavares didn't see the ice.

Domi wasn?t gassed that game but he definitely should?ve switched when he had the chance. His lazy cross over in front of Nylander also gave Johnson all the time he needed to wire one

Said it before but Reaves leaving the lineup due to injury sucks to watch. He was already struggling so this doesn't help.
I also don't love that it pushes the clock back in making the right decision on his roster spot. Veterans rarely lose their spot due to injury
Also not that expected goals are the be all end all but after 2 periods the expected goals were 3.4 - 2.6 in favour of Columbus. By the end of the game it was 5.5 - 4 in favour of Toronto. The Leafs defense was bad in the first two periods but bad defense really gets highlighted when your goalie stops making saves
