Other than Hildeby I haven't been impressed by any Leaf yet.

He had a play in the first that drew a penalty where he bullied his way up the ice and had at least two different Habs hook him up the ice. After that he has been AWOL

I'm seeing a little too much in the way of solo efforts by the Leafs...1 on 3 stuff which almost always results in turnovers. They have gotten away from playing as a team this period, need to get back to that for the third.

Fortunate to be down only a goal. Hildeby playing well again.

Hemmed in their zone. Lazy clearing attempts. Montreal is aggressive at the offensive blueline because they have the speed to catch up to counterattack. So the Leafs get hemmed in and then dump the puck to start the line change. We lose the forecheck because it's 1 in 3 and the defense doesn't hustle to the bench so we get pinned in our own zone with a quick transition.
