That’s essentially it for me too…it’s been ingrained in me for 60 years on a Saturday night so I automatically have it on but do not “watch” it anywhere like I used to..it’s background noise. Despite the playoff nightmares I thoroughly enjoyed the regular season teams for entertainment. The truly sad thing is is that teams that were the calibre of the Leafs generally did have playoff success that would allow us to psychologically deal with inevitable rebuilds in this sport. As for me I have no more
patience nor faith that the Leafs are organizationally capable of success. I mean, how fortunate were we as fans to actually draft Marner, Willy and especially Matthews. So after decades of watching almost every game I no longer care if I miss a game.
