Game Notes
LA
-Darcy Kuemper will start for the Kings
-LA is currently in the middle of a very tight playoff race for the final spot in the West. San Jose holds that position at the moment with 79 points in 74 games. LA and Nashville are both right behind them with 79 points in 75 games. Making the playoffs will be all the more important to the Kings considering this will be captain Anze Kopitar's final season in the NHL
-Artemi Panarin has 7 goals and 20 points in 19 games with the Kings since being acquired from the Rangers before the Olympic break. Former Leaf Scott Laughton isn't quite at those numbers but has a respectable 4 goals and 6 points in 14 games since being traded there at the deadline
TOR
-Joseph Woll will likely start for the Leafs
-OEL of course left Thursday's game with a lower-body injury and was absent from practice on Friday. Berube called him doubtful for the game against the Kings
