Not exactly a surprise. Apparently the Leafs were among a few other teams to check in on him to see if he'd be interested in playing again. But I'm sure it was Carolina or nothing for him.
 
I guess we'll see if this is Mike Fisher 2.0. Missing half the year was pretty huge for Fisher and he wasn't much of a factor when he came back.
