Canucks @ Leafs - Jan. 10th, 7:00pm - SN

Yeah that's not a penalty on Stetcher there. Amazing how when teams are trailing the Leafs they get the benefit of the doubt PP opportunities. When the Leafs were dogshit (and so was our PP) it was still 2 attempts a game

So the Canucks are genuinely terrible but the depth stuff is actually starting to mean something. Joshua was playing well before he got hurt. Who is he taking out of the lineup when he eventually comes back. Matthews and Nylander need to keep producing at a high level but this team has multiple good lines now

Berube will come up with some crap that Robertson or Cowan need to sit a game or he'll bury Maccelli again. No room for Joshua right now.

Let's digest this for a moment:
They pick this guy up off the scrap heap - on waivers less than 2 months ago
The team has turned it around playing .800 hockey their last ten games.
They win 5-0 tonight.
Guess who led the team in ice time - in spite of having to serve a bogus penalty?
Yep, Stecher 20:43
I'm sure all the penalties and the big lead had something to do with it but still ...
He's second on the team in +/- +12 with the Leafs
You don't see stuff like this very often.
I never would have predicted it
