I mean that has absolutely no business being a goal. Stolarz has been abysmal this yearsteeves was never good enough to get a real chance on the leafs. hmmm...
He was just called up by the Bruins so apparently not good enough for them either. I always liked him and thought he should get a chance.steeves was never good enough to get a real chance on the leafs. hmmm...
Cool how Stolarz has turned into Samsonov.
bad goal for sure but solid effort by steeves nonetheless. hard work and some talentI mean that has absolutely no business being a goal. Stolarz has been abysmal this year
I think you forgot what a sack of shit he was in his second year.At this point I'd rather have Samsonov back.
It won't. Berube will sit Robertson and swap Lorentz for Jarnkrok. Best hope the Leafs have is for Woll to come back and go on a heater so the players can gain some confidence.Leafs are the second hardest working team yet again. Something big has to change

Look I’m as frustrated as anyone with this team, but lamenting the loss/lack of opportunity of/for Alex Steeves is borderline nonsensical. My point about Steeves is not that he's some superstar, but the guy spent 4 years in the Leaf system, was a big-time producer every year for the Marlies, yet only got into 14 Leaf games over that time. Where is the incentive for those guys on the Marlies? I mean, they gave Holmberg 68 games and Dewar 31.
I mean I think it's a fair discussion point. We have struggled with depth year over year and when a guy was excelling in the AHL he never really got a chance to get a shot in the NHL. I think giving guys like Steeves an opportunity was a microcosm of the Leafs just overrelying on spending assets to upgrade holes and never trying internal optionsLook I’m as frustrated as anyone with this team, but lamenting the loss/lack of opportunity of/for Alex Steeves is borderline nonsensical.
Yep. Instead of promoting a young, hungry player from within, they have to go out and acquire an over-priced Dakota JoshuaI mean I think it's a fair discussion point.
