I think we're starting to see what Treliving & Co. were hoping for this offseason with a revamped 3rd line. Whether it is Joshua - Roy - McMann or Knies - Roy - Cowan we're seeing a line that can make a difference.

Seriously the complete mystery game with injuries is starting to piss me off with this franchise. I'm not saying we should be getting intimate medical details about every injury but the secrecy around everything is kind of absurd.
Heading for a surgery...like 4-6 weeks...3 months....rest of the year. Where the hell is Keith Pelley with his "we need to engage with the fanbase better".

With gambling allowed now, shouldn't they have a legal obligation to disclose injury status? Teams that don't disclose injuries should be subject to fines.

I hope this little turn around is for real. I hope the team has woken up from whatever it is they were sleeping through. Obviously I’d rather watch a winning season than a losing one.
The only thing that scares me is Treliving making moves to bolster the team for the playoffs. I don’t want him touching the roster anymore. I still want him gone.

I hope so as well. I have felt all season that they're a better team on paper than they have shown to date. But they've only beaten two in the upper half of the league in points win%: Pittsburgh (#10) & Philadelphia (#9). Crazy things can happen in sports but they do not look like a true Cup contender to me. I wouldn't invest prospects/picks in their chances. I have similar feelings about Treliving. Team DNA is not as good.
