Using Puckpedia I can take everyone off the LTIR/IR (except Pietrangelo) and get a 22 or 23 man roster under the cap depending on who you demote.

Well I would have rather traded a 1st and Minten last year for Andersson with retention than Carlo. And I'm sure the Leafs would have too but Calgary's owner is still being petty for no reason. Obviously now this is without an extra year on his deal, but at the very least he was going to net a 1st round draft pick or prospect equivalent. A 2nd rounder on top of that is probably mostly fair, and obviously it eventually turns into a 1st I doubt Vegas would be complaining.
