Game Notes
BUF
-Alex Lyon will likely start for the Sabres
-Buffalo currently has 3 goalies on the roster: NHL journeyman Alex Lyon, 25-year old rookie Colten Ellis who just won his first NHL game with a 29 save effort over Detroit, and last years starter Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen who just returned to the team after a quick 1 game AHL conditioning stint as he works his way back from a preseason injury
-Things weren't looking good for Buffalo to start the season as they went 0-3 and were outscored 2-10. They've shaken off that rough start by going 3-1 and outscoring their opposition 17-10 in that span
TOR
-Anthony Stolarz will likely start for the Leafs
-After making his frustrations with the top line clear following the loss to New Jersey Berube made some big changes with the lines at practice on Thursday. He made the decision to move Nylander into the 1RW spot, while dropping Knies to the second line to keep some balance in the top-6
-Rielly missed practice on Thursday, with Berube only offering that he was "dealing with something". His status for Friday's game is unclear, but with the Leafs having to play at least a few games without Tanev another loss to the D would be difficult to handle
Streams

Go Leafs Go! Let's kick the crap out of these guys and get going! Zero pressure with the World Series running concurrently with these games.

Rielly is out of the lineup tonight as well.

Probably:
McCabe - Carlo
OEL - Mermis
Benoit - Myers
I'd probably try to have McCabe, Carlo, and OEL all on separate pairs here. So like:

Benoit-McCabe
Mermis-Carlo
OEL-Myers

With all due respect to someone like Tage Thompson, at least we aren't going up against any super elite talents that need more dedicated line matching.
