R1: Utah Mammoth (WC1) vs. Vegas Golden Knights (P1)

I think having both Hart back and Torts, Vegas will be a very tough out. Their issue all year was goaltending.
 
Man two brutal losses in a row for Utah. I don't see them bouncing back from the last minute blown lead and SH 2OT loss.

Marner with 0G 4A in 5 games but did assist on the OT winner.

I bailed after the first OT but shocked Utah couldn't pull it off. On paper this shouldn't even really be this close, especially since Vejmelka has been fine but not exactly carrying the Mammoth. Yamamoto and Carcone, two smaller guys, were flying for Utah last night. Schmaltz also looked even better than I generally thought he was. Such a bummer he's not making it to free agency.

He also provided the screen on the 3-2 go ahead goal. He also had a hand in the tying goal.
