I missed the 1st period, but from what I've seen, Colborne and Gardiner are looking very good.

Scrivens was lucky on one shot, but so far he's shut the door. Flyers haven't had the best chances tonight, I don't think, though.

That's up there with the types of hits the league wants to get rid of, so, I won't be shocked if there's a suspension attached to it. I don't expect it, but, I wouldn't be surprised.

Yup, I counted about 3 strides that Shelley took after Boyce got rid of that puck, he knew exactly what he was doing from what I saw.

Another note: Armstrong is such a calming presence. He's a very solid third line player.

Call me stupid, but I think he's too good for the AHL. Can you imagine what he's going to look like when he is in mid-season form? The guy is awesome with the puck. He is going to score all kinds of points in the A' this season.

He's going to skate circle around everyone. It looked like he was just having a good time skating around everyone, not like he even kicked it into his highest gear! I don't think I've ever seen a better skater. (Too young for Gartner).

I was just thinking to myself, how do you justify someone like Komisarek on the bottom pairing with Gardiner playing the way he is.  I'd much rather have a young up-and-coming player like Gardiner on our bottom pairing than Komisarek.

I've really liked D'Amigo's game tonight.

He seems to have more jump in his stride this year. He appears to be playing with more passion, maybe there was too much hype on him last season.
