Game Notes
FLA
-Sergei Bobrovsky will likely start for the Panthers
-The reigning back to back Stanley Cup champions are of course in the midst of an injury-plagued season that currently see them just outside of a playoff spot at the moment
-Florida's last game saw them accomplish something only two other teams have done so far this season: beat the Colorado Avalanche in regulation
TOR
-Joseph Woll will likely start for the Leafs
-Jake McCabe has joined the list of wounded Leafs as he's expected to miss about a week with a lower body injury
-Some good news on that front at least is that Brandon Carlo appears ready to return to the line-up after missing the last 23 games with a foot injury
Streams

With Tanev possible 86'd for the rest of the regular season and now McCabe out, it's imperative that Carlo start playing like the guy Treliving thought was worth giving up a first rounder for.

What's the deal with Cade Webber? 0 points in 22 games with the Marlies but he's a giant at 6'6" - 220lbs, 25 years old. Can he PK? Try him on the bottom pair with Rielly?

A) He's LD, so pairing him with Rielly at the NHL level is just going to put both of them in some kind of pickle; he did anchor a pairing with Lane Hutson to good effect though, so maybe if Rielly were more like Lane Hutson
B) His skating needs a bit of work
C) He absolutely can PK and clear the slot and takes pride in that sort of spadework

Great attitude and physical traits, but still needs to learn how to put it all together effectively against faster, heavier competition. Projected ceiling right now is like a slower, taller Benoit.

I feel like if Cade Webber were even remotely close to being something that even kinda resembles a NHL calibre defenceman a Treliving/Berube team with this many injuries on D would have tried calling him up already.

So like a Wish.com version of Phillip Myers.

I would think that too but they make so many questionable decisions in terms of lineup deployment it makes me wonder.
