You don't "vent" every "once in a while" you cry like spoiled children in the exact same way after every goal and every loss and people are tuning you out because it's obnoxious and the furthest possible thing from interesting discussion.

Maybe you should look over the entire thread before you accuse or criticize.
I didn't say shit about anything after any goal except the first and this was my comment.
"Control the whole period and we are down. Now a penalty".
Doesn't sound like crying to me.
Anyway I don't want to get into another disagreement or argument with you.

So continue to have fun watching this team if Dubas doesn't take any measures to correct it. If he doesn't enjoy watching the playoffs.

See this is just a perfect example of how you just don't listen to anyone in your constant need to just repeat yourself. I've said I think Dubas should have done more to fix the backup goaltending situation in the summer, even if it meant losing one of Kapanen/Johnsson/Kerfoot.

The difference is that once I said it, I didn't feel the need to say it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and act like the decision to not do it made me burn with rage. It is what it is, I made my feelings known, I moved on.

And as a final remark, the Leafs really do need to shore up backup goaltending. The Leafs brass surely were aware of this all year and if Andersen goes down with an injury for any length of time then they were just negligent in the backup goalie market. Maybe it doesn't work out with the next guy but even people watching the Marlies weren't vouching for Hutchinson.

Even just regular subpar goaltending gets the Leafs to OT, but a sub .800 performance. Woof!

So, here's the list of all the goalies that have signed contracts since July 1st 2019 (this list includes some RFAs and extensions that were signed for players still under contract, but it's the best I can do):

As you can see from these, The free agent market this summer was basically starters and minor league types. It wasn't so much that it was negligence, but more that there wasn't much available without having to give up assets. And, then, the questions becomes how much should the team give up for a backup? Considering the only goalie that was traded since the beginning of June that is having a better year that Hutchinson is Reimer - and he was traded as a cap dump - I'm not sure there was much out there at a reasonable cost.

Would it have been nice if the team had upgraded the backup this summer? Obviously. I'm just not sure there were any reasonable options available in terms of cost to acquire or actual upgrade.

True I mean where did all the Casey De Smith talk go? He's having a .905 year in the A. Ungood.
