There's going to be bumps in the road, but for a Leaf fan to grow with the team in general and on this board, this has got to be the best time to climb aboard in decades.  It's stunning how much there is to look forward to just one year removed from a dumpster fire of a season.

Is it too early to say that Leafs Connected sucks?  Tried them for a year after the official forum closed because I recognized someone who used to be a mod there.

Needless to say, I've decided to move on after a year of finding out what they were about.

I love debating, but having every other response read "eat a dick" is a little too immature for my taste as is the superiority complex clique starting with the hypocritical admins.

I have nothing against playful insults, BTW.  ;)
 
Never heard of Leafs Connected, I wandered over to their thread about Rielly and Kadri re-signing and this was one of the first comments (was originally uncensored):

And man, some of the posts that were replying to you TBLeafer for sticking up for the deals are insane.
 
Ah man someone in the Marlies thread is blaming the tank on the Marlies losing in the playoffs. Basically saying the losing environment the Leafs created trickled down.
 
You picked a good one, TBLeafer. Smartest hockey board I could find, by a long shot. Even the dumb arguments we get into here are more palatable than what the rest of the hockeyinternet brings to the table.

It's nice that they dedicated a goodbye thread to you though  ;D
