McKegg and Michael Heard each finished the tournament with a team high of 4 points each (McKegg going 2-2, Heard going 1-3).
Nice shot by Frattin, assisted by Jake Gardiner, who continues to excel on the point, but whose work defensively still needs fine-tuning ( the way he was fooled on the Sens overtime goal).
What was most impressive about these Leaf rookie team was their never-say-die attitude and effort to just keep right on skating and be creative, keeping the game flowing, plus plenty of enthusiastic gung-ho effectiveness. That Devane guy is sure going to be diffiicult for opponents to beat to the punch (no pun intended ;D ).
Owuya continued his solidity in stopping shots from different angles. He certainly looks to be a Leaf goaltender of the future, with a lot more training and experience, of course.
