Game Notes
UTA
-Jaxson Stauber will likely make his season debut for the... uh... Hockey Club
-Strauber is a 25-year old with 6 NHL games under his belt (all back in 22/23 with Chicago). Utah will likely turn to him as Vejmelka started on Saturday and Ingram is out with an injury
-Things started off pretty well for the former Arizona Coyotes in their new home this season. Utah went 4-1-1 in their first 6 games but have since gone 4-8-2
TOR
-Anthony Stolarz (7-3-2, 2.18 GAA, .927 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
-While they won't play on the same line (at least not to start) William and Alex Nylander will finally play a NHL game on the same team after Alex was signed to a NHL deal on Thursday due to the mounting list of injuries to Leafs forwards

The big question: will they add a W to 88's name bar or just let us figure out who's who?

Who plays at 7pm on a Sunday. Kids have school on Monday. And Europeans have work. Play it at 4pm, latest

Weirdly I thought UHC's lineup would look better. I think we win this even with our depleted lineup. If there was any time in the year to have a crap load of injuries now is as good a time as any.

Wednesday is the measuring stick match. Stanley Cup champion Panthers.

The Leafs will probably play Stolarz tonight and Wednesday night.

Woll is starting tonight and Wednesday is not a measuring stick. Yes they're playing the champs but it's Nov and the Leafs are loaded with injuries.
And why would you think Stolarz is playing both. Woll was outstanding and had a shutout last game. Him getting this start and Stolarz against his old team was an easy call.

Yup. Even if we get a bunch of the injured players back, they’ll still have some rust they’ll need to shake off. There will be some insights from the game, sure, but a measuring stick? Not under these circumstances.

Tonight feels like a trap game, for sure. A lesser opponent, an inexperienced rookie goalie, and a Sunday night? Red flags everywhere.
