Man the Sportsnet broadcast is atrocious. The Leafs being hemmed in their zone has nothing to do with that goal. It was a terrible one to give up
 
I'm not trying to argue the shots should be equal or anything but the standard for a shot for the Leads this year seems to be at a different standard than their opponents. There have been a number of picks on net where the shot is pulled off the board

The reason is he didn’t save much gas trying to maintain the forecheck at the other end of the ice. Mistakes happen on fumes.

Not absolving him of the error, but it was poor decision making — too long a shift — not an effort thing.

Stop with the excuses. If it was offence, he'd be flying. Look at that effort by Robertson that forced Kuemper to hold it. You don't think he was gassed? Willy sucked on the play and Berube gave it to him on the bench....well deserved. Next shift the line got a goal. Good response.
