League is f'd if they rule this off. If the goalie knocks the net off too bad. Have this shit is on purpose I swear. Should be a penalty f'n BS.
 
What a cheat. This NHL is amazing.  Goalie intentionally knocks net off two games in a row and it?s perfectly allowed. The leafs have gotten so many goals disallowed this year.  Have not benefited from anything. 
 
Leagues a joke. Announcers are retarded as well. For gods sake Ferraro u played in the league. How hard if a goalie knows he's down and out to push the net off. Miller with another dumb comment. Hard to know if Elliott did it on purpose. Doesn't matter give him a penalty.
Some of the rules in this league need to be addressed. This for one. Kicking a puck in with no kicking motion drives me nuts as well.

Yeah, azzurri, I think if a single defender (goalies or otherwise) knocks the net off, intentional or not, it should be delay of game.  Makes as much sense as puck over glass.

It wasn't.  You may not like the rule (I don't, and just suggested it should be delay of game) but as it stands there's no way the refs can decide whether a push like that is intentional.

In this case yes the net was off but the league needs to either call a penalty on the defensive player or make a decision. If the net would have stayed on would that affected the outcome of the play.
In this case no it wouldn't Elliott was down and out.
