JT and Marner are both struggling. Not just Kappy. I think Babs will give him another go but I'd like to see Mikheyev get a shot on 1 of the top 2 lines.

Agree with the 3 games in 4 nights being a big factor, the Leafs looked absolutely gassed at the end. Couldn't make clean passes, kept losing pucks in their feet, lost faceoffs and puck battles all over the place. Not going to get overly concerned from this one game, we'll see if a pattern emerges.

Kappy...I'm wondering if he might get moved this season once Hyman gets back. He looks completely out of place with Tavares and Marner. Maybe that gets better with time but I don't know if there's really a good spot for him if everyone is healthy. Moore looks more than competent and is much cheaper. If we need an upgrade at backup goaltender and need cap flexibility maybe we move Kappy for picks or prospects.

Very entertaining third period.  Felt more like a playoff game.  Too bad the Leafs blew the lead.  The schedule is certainly not being in their favour so early in the season with many more of these types of back-to-back games.

Not too impressed with Hutchinson as the backup.  For now will do.

Give Montreal credit.  Whether the Leafs were tired or not, they persevered and came from behind. 

The Leafs D is still a work in progress.  In Friday?s win at Columbus, Freddy had to do some rescuing in that second period that could have easily gone the other way.  Not making excuses about the back-to-backs but the team?s overall play can lead to some sloppy handovers & confusion at times.
