Game Notes
COL
-Scott Wedgewood will likely start for the Avalanche
-You may have heard that the Colorado Avalanche are very, very, very good this season. They currently have 73 points, which is 12 points higher than the next best team in the league
-Some good news for the Leafs is that injuries are hitting them hard now with one of their top goalies, top defencemen, and top wingers all on the injured shelf now. Two of their 4 regulation losses this season have come in January
TOR
-Joseph Woll will likely start for the Leafs
Streams

Colorado is 19-0-2 at home this year. This would be a great opportunity to give them their first regulation loss at home.

***Washington lost last night. The Leafs are 1 point back of the 2nd wildcard spot with a 2 games in hand. Buffalo plays Florida tonight. A Leafs win and a Sabres regulation loss and the Leafs would be in the WC1 spot. A Leafs OT loss and they will be in WC2.***

No shame if the Leafs lose tonight in the high altitude against an Avalanche team that has built a huge gap on the competition.

But that also means if they win, it’s extra fun. Tampa and Florida recently claimed victories over Colorado when they visited, division rivals that the Leafs have (surprisingly) handled so far.
