2026 Blue Jays

Honestly not sure Sanchez should be kept when Lukes returns. I'd say the same for Heineman when Kirk is back
Heineman should go, for sure. Sanchez I'm less sure of - it's not like Lukes was hitting well when he got hurt and Sanchez has more power in hit bat, which the Jays need. Lukes also has an option remaining, so he can be sent down without waivers.

Both Sanchez and Sosa (less so) were intriguing additions but have been underwhelming.

Sanchez has 2 more home runs, the same amount of RBI and almost exactly same OPS as Vladdy-in 40 LESS at bats...

Which is to say he certainly isn't anything special (his fielding is awful) but it's a decent bat, particularly when compared to the rest of the abysmal offense this year.
