Florida being a villain for every team....especially Tampa is probably good for the game.....but the fact that they are a villain because they get away with injuring players makes it's disgusting that the NHL does nothing about it.
 
Curtis Douglas fined. No Panthers facing discipline. Holy hell the League is just begging for someone to seriously injure a Panthers player some day
 




Predators Linked to Shanahan, Bergevin​

Off the ice, executive changes are coming in Nashville. Reports suggest former Maple Leafs president Brendan Shanahan and longtime NHL executive Marc Bergevin have been linked to potential leadership roles with the Predators.



That could be fun.

I’m sure there’s a way to pull this data, but I feel like Rasmus Dahlin has probably incurred the most $$ through suspensions and fines as the victim of DoPS-worthy infractions. Just this week was Hagel (fine) and Malkin (5G suspension). He got Matthews a two-gamer a few years ago as well.

I am guessing other players hate him and it is probably justified. Maybe he talks about people's mothers.
 
Who are you rooting for now? I would like to see McDavid win. I like Colorado as well, with a lot of integral pieces of that roster being Canadians (MacKinnon, Makar, Toews, Kardri, and the Woody's in net).

Colorado are an amazingly fun team to watch, too. So I don’t mind them winning.

But I’d love to see someone like Utah make a real mark and go deep

Every team in the Pacific wouldn't even be in a playoff spot if they were in the East. Oilers have 5pts more then the Leafs....5pts and we're talking about a retool and they're 4pts up on the wildcard. They don't deserve to win anything. One of Dallas or Minny will be gone after the 1st round. One of Edm, Vegas , Ducks will be going to rd2. That's not right having 1 of the top 4 teams guaranteed to be going home after the 1st round.
I said in another thread it wouldn't bother me if Carolina won and I wish Buff the best but CTB reminded me of Pitt. That's a nice choice as well. In the west, Col, Dal, Minny all deserve to be there and wouldn't be upset if one of them won it.
