I was going to say: I would be very concerned about injuries piling up if I were him - he doesn't want to turn into Mike Bossy or Wendel but without maximizing pay. I think I'd probably just lock in and take as many years as I could get.

Looking a lot better. I would adjust the dark blue fonts for like, reply, report and user names. Otherwise so much better. **Edit: Also the latest post section etc. Basically any dark blue text should be adjusted when there is a dark grey background to improve readability.

Screenshot attached. The old software was better. I fear the longer were on this the less likely we are to get new users. *Edit: I don't think pictures or screenshots attach properly.

I grew up watching him and was always in awe of him. Definitely too bad but when you're lugging around guys like Jonas Hoglund...

It's just very bad on mobile at the moment. Even reading text is difficult.

So how did we do at the deadline? A bit hard to sift through it all. They sold on pending free agents but brought in a controlled pitcher? Anything else we need to know? Are they a better or worse team today? Can't say I was ever a Hoffman or Varsho guy.

Nimmala is decently high on the Jays prospect chart. Is this anywhere near what the Dodgers gave up for Skubal?

Interesting they're walking him right to UFA

I don't see any problem comparing it. Sittler viewed Imlach as a problem and has openly said so, and from that vantage point I think generally people have self awareness and are still able to differentiate between the actual problem issues instead of just saying everything was permanently...

Will he still be an RFA after this deal?

Its's instructive to me seeing even Sittler not bury Harold Freaking Ballard in the way Marner's camp does of the Leafs crest from start to finish. It's absurd.

Supposedly he'd been dealing with an elbow issue for a couple years already. What the hell are we doing?

The Leafs org has been ripped time and time again for their handling of the core 4 era though. My slant isn't on whoever is running the team, or the org in general. We care about the crest, not really the people running the team (unless they somehow deliver a Cup). How many of us wanted it to...

I didn't know Marner broke his ankle - and this was an issue with the Leafs org in general. They should be a little more forthcoming especially after the season about players playing through injuries. But if we're playing the hit piece game, I very clearly recall how pissed people were that...

I have a hard time believing he isn't implicitly co-signing on anything Darren Ferris says or he wouldn't be his agent, and I think unless Mitch says something to clarify the statement then we're really only speculating.

Ferris is employed by Marner and Mariner's camp and acts literally as Marner's representation. Why would Ferris be nothing but as onside to what Marner and his camp think? Why troll the fanbase when he comes back in the offseason and it would make his life harder? I really don't see a world in...

Ferris also brought up the carjacking which has nothing to do with the Leafs or fans. It's grievance after grievance even where none exists - so much of what Ferris said is based on a very narrow view of events and not close to objective reality (Mitch being the ONLY one criticized for playoff...

That's exactly it. You'd think he was the most maligned player in Leafs history. It took Sittler years of having his team dismantled before his very eyes to force him out of Toronto. Mahovlich is owed a massive apology from fans and staff. Mats wanted to stay even when the org wanted to push him...

I mean, there's some there that I have no idea still who he's talking about. Feels a little early to declare being right or wrong on some of them.

That's absolutely crazy. Good for Kane, but man that's a lot of money for a guy two years older than Tavares.
