I love the catcher's reaction. (Closes eyes and prays.)

What was it Jim Bouton said about the Knuckleball? On the plus side, the hitter doesn't know where it's going and on the down side, neither do you.

I like this a lot, both as a Christian and as a Jays fan.

Former Blue Jay Kelvim Escobar has signed with the Brewers after 3 years out of baseball.

Colby Rasmus signs 1 yr / $4.7M deal and avoids arbitration.

Nice deal for both sides, I think.  If Colby can produce similar power numbers as last year (23 HR / 75RBI) and improve his average, then he's going to look really good around the 6 or 7 spot in the lineup this year.

Isn't he threatening to retire cause he wants to play for Texas?

That's good news, seems like there is high end quality and lots of depth everywhere - Lineup, rotation and bull-pen.

He's 42 but I don't think we have to worry about him holding up his level of play. He posted his career best ERA and WHIP last season (2.06, 1.024).

Jose Reyes is in town today. Presser is at 4 PM. I am guessing it will be on Sportsnet. I am looking forward to hearing from him.
