So anyone else kind of happy to be living in a country whose craziest political scandal is about what sort of symbolic decorations are allowed to be worn by employees of overpriced grocery stores?
I guess that's the advantage of a 3-party system...they jostle for position around what they perceive as the middle of Canadians' views rather than edge further and further towards the extremes.

Take some time and watch Agents of Chaos on HBO. It's crazy how social media is driving both sides further and further apart.

The Democrats just elected the most Centrist nominee they had running for President.

Not a great look for the kinder, gentler CPC.

What I found particularly interesting was that Ryerson had a Conservatives club, who needed a safe space to figure out how to debate liberals, the "dumbest people" at school.

Leaving aside the actual meat and potatoes here, it's in poor taste for anyone to be using the issue of residential schools to score points, it's really bizarre to me that the leader of one of Canada's major political parties thinks teaching students how to epically DESTROY other students is a worthwhile use of his time.

Agreed. Just foolish to come from a party leader.
