Should we get Matt Martin on the other wing

What is the most concise way I can say this?

No.

Not for me. Even Babs made Martin a healthy scratch at the end of his tenure here.

One b-hole works for most people (right?), but on a team, you want at least a whole line of b-holes banging bodies together. (phrasing)

That was the problem with Martin (on top of the rather onerous term and caphit) previously: he had to play the game one way and the rest of the line(up) was built another way. But for 1 yr 1.25M with Simmonds as well, and say... Nick Cousins (pesky verbal b-hole) down the middle?

The combination of a pretty (even alarmingly) anatomically correct text pic of a b-hole and right beneath it #BeBlessed just made my day -- also Wayne train signing definitely contributing to my good mood.

Totally agree. I'd go as far as to say that if they don't add least another player to spread the load, Simmonds will be injured trying to provide that dimension himself. I'd love a komorov equivalent and a cousins type. That would completely change the team.

Another advantage that may or not have been mentioned is that getting more of these types of players will likely result in more PP time for the top 6. This is an area that the leafs have handicapped themselves substantially over the last few years.

Making your day with a b-hole pic, made my day.

I hate fighting in hockey. It's stupid and pointless.
BUT I WILL MAKE EXCEPTIONS FOR THIS. How do I add Titanic music over this...

Why does everyone hate Deangelo?

He has a history of using slurs in the OHL (which his dad defended by saying that he (the dad) used those words every day so it's not a big deal).

He's also the most vocal Trump supporter in the league.

Those two things I'm sure are unrelated.

Yeah, as talented as DeAngelo is, he's definitely a guy that needs a face punching on a regular basis.

Simmonds implies that the Leafs went after him last offseason too. $5mil was too much though obviously.
