this man is a forward, folks https://t.co/BrbONMPtYD— Rhys Jessop (@Thats_Offside) September 23, 2020I kind of like this idea. It's clear his instincts for neutralizing attacks is wonky, but he's got the build and wherewithal to be a pretty decent displacement forward. His shooting percentage is also relatively high for a defenseman so I think he could be someone you could just throw pucks at for chaos jam goals.

It appears as if the Hornqvist/Matheson deal is being held up due to an insurance issue — the ability to fully insure contracts against injury.— Elliotte Friedman (@FriedgeHNIC) September 23, 2020

Insurance on contracts isn't a joke. With how these franchises are leveraged, insurance is not optional most of the time. It's got to be there to release the funds.
Was told the is likely not happening anymore but not to assume anything for sure. Thinks Sabres are looking at goalies. Lot of teams talking but money is an issue holding up the action. Buyout window is tomorrow— J (@Account4hockey) September 24, 2020
