The Goat of the Match thread
« on: October 03, 2019, 12:10:03 PM »
Well, we do have the man of the match thread, and as stacked as the Leafs are there will always one player that stands out behind the rest.

My Goat of the Match:   Kerfoot

Man this guy has got to find his place and soon. Making me miss Kadri already.

Vs. Columbus Game 2

Andreas Johnsson
I love Andreas, probably one of his biggest fans, but two bonehead penalties make him the Goat of the Match.  Although he played quite well after these infractions, I am sure Babs had a word with him after the 1st.  And screened the Goalie on Ceci Riders first goal.

Cause this is what's needed -  a mean-spirited vitriol thread. Ugh. Isn't this what the GDTs are for now anyway?

Agree, terrible idea for a thread.

I am not a mean spirited human. The context of the thread is although we have a MoM thread, there is always one guy taking a night off or doing something stupid. It actually meant in a fun way, however if the members feel it is negative, I will cease and desist.  By the way Tulloch over at Athletic gave Kapi a -2  on his game report.  I guess he is full of vitriol himself.

We're 3 games in and no one else seems interested in participating in this thread. I'll echo what others said, we don't need a dedicated negative thread.
