I'm not saying he won't get signed, and he may even get his money from somebody.  But some teams, maybe a lot of them, would look at him as a malcontent and never even try to get in the market, and so at the very least his universe shrinks.

Maybe, but I think that gets forgotten pretty quick if he comes back and is effective. We saw it with Radulov.

Depends on how it goes in the SEL or KHL or Southern Pro HL.

Let me see how I do here:

"We made several offers to (Nylander)'s agents that we thought were fair but ultimately the decision not to accept them were made by the player and we have to move on. Our focus can't be on just one player and I have to make decisions that are in the best interest in the club and eventually winning a Stanley Cup. We'll be moving forward by examining all of our options for improving the team and getting ready for what we expect to be a successful season"

Nah. He'll be in the NHL next year.

Hey guys just logging on for the first time today. What did Nylander sign for? Weird that we don't have a thread for it.

I meant how he does the rest of this year.

That's what I mean though, I don't think how he does the rest of the year will matter too much. I think most talent evaluators would agree it wouldn't be the idea situation to gauge him at. If he's an effective NHL player next year, he'll be in demand again.

May we never speak of this threads existence again. Someone else can start a new one for the M&M's.
