Starter Clayton Richard placed on 10-day IL.

Tellez goes down to Buffalo, up comes McKinney:

Rowdy needs to stop striking out so often, also swinging at the up and in pitches.. He will figure it out.

Stro loves T.O.:

Of course, it didn’t prevent someone from calling the Jays org this:

Eric Sogard has been traded to Tampa, no word yet on what the Jays got in return.

This should free up a spot for Bo Bichette on the Jays roster.

Return is two players to be named later, per TSN

I'll miss Stroman for his talent, but not for his outspoken personality. Both parts will play well in the Big Apple though.

Hopefully these "pitching prospects" from the Mets pan out!

It may be nothing but I'm a little suspicious of the fact that the trade was basically reported an hour ago and there's still nothing emerging about what the trade was beyond Stroman.

Also, the Mets being buyers doesn't make a ton of sense.

Huh. Well, that's two of their top pitching prospects anyway, not much in the way of top prospects list stuff.
