Andrew Wiggins
« on: March 28, 2013, 10:13:47 PM »

If you're a basketball fan you should get used to hearing the name of Toronto native Andrew Wiggins. An almost consensus choice among scouts as the best high school player in the United States, it seems pretty clear that if he has a good college season he'll be the #1 pick in the 2014 draft.

And he has some sick, sick hops:

So, he's into brewing, is he?

"Maple Jordan" competed in the McDonald's All-American Dunk Contest and his entry was...not bad:

Holy cow!

I've heard about Wiggins but thought he had ton of work to do still. He looks ridiculously talented. Can soar above the rim in a matter of seconds, has amazing ball handling skills and is explosive off the dribble.

I thought the tape was on fast forward a couple of times when he blew past the defenders, he was so fast.

What an incredibly exciting talent!

I wonder if all the innumerable sci-fi/basketball fans will call him Ender.

Wiggins will not be joining Team Canada's u19 squad at the FIBA 2013 tournament in Prague.

There is a reason...
