Yeah, I really want to put this country's economic recovery in the hands of a party who can't figure out how to have a leadership vote.
And I think everything is great we got an actor /
Drama teacher as a PM and now a journalist running the countries finances. In the real word these people would be fired under code of conduct . And everyone involved with WE should be facing embezzlement charges.
People wake up they stole our money

The only thing wrong is we paid kids
top dollar for potential. Remember they are only 22.  Most players hit their stride and complete game at 24 to 28.   The whole league is overpaying for potential.   It all started with Edmonton paying all of the 1 St round piccks
that they acquired.   Put a true power forward with these guys and watch out.

Yes they need a power forward.

I must have been watching a different game. I'm very confused by the "Nylander was invisible" comments. I'm not saying he had his best game or anything, but I thought he was flying out there.

With zero hesitation, Marner would be the one I'd trade over Nylander. I'm not advocating for either being traded though.

He certainly wasn't all that great in game 5 but overall I thought Nylander was quite good. I saw some tenacious backchecks, he had two front of the net goals, four points and threaded multiple nifty passes/setups all series. Meanwhile Marner was dishing out more turnovers than Betty Crocker! I really can't fathom why the softer, less dangerous player with the extra $4million per price tag should be the one escaping more criticism.
Totally agree

We need a real power forward one of the Tkatchuk brothers would be ideal.
And a stay at home defensive D-man that can take care of his own zone.

Main Leafs Hockey Talk / Re: Your personal all-time Leafs team

Last night I watched NHL classics
Game 6 Leafs vs LA conference final
1993.   Wendel what a game !
It was like I relived that piece of time
I was cheering for the Leafs and swearing at the reffing of Fraser throughout the game

C'mon
   Go Leafs Go

 8) We are still in......

This team now desperately needs to get into the playoffs and win a round or 2
They have to advance and hopefully in doing so ,maybe then they will find some heart.
As of now they are all Jekyll and Hyde.
Even if by some miracle they get in, they have virtually no chance to advance.
I still hope that this Jekyll and Hyde team can reach the playoffs and then somehow
turn into Cinderella

Yes I consider the Clifford goal Spezza's.

Since I don't want to talk about the game, I'll expand on this thought from my MotM pick. It's weird to me that you're not allowed to kick or bat the puck  into the net with your hand. But if a puck is shot at you and deflects off your foot, hand, or any other body part you get credit for the goal. All goals should go to the last player on the scoring team that moved the puck with their stick. I'm aware this would remove like 5 goals from my buddy Zach Hyman's goal totals. Thank-you for your time.

Don't be silly, it is hard work being the guy taking the abuse in front of the net.   Screening
the goalie and taking the wacks and abuse from the defense.  A net front presence causing havoc results in a lot of goals and if the puck goes off that player it should be his goal

Unless he moves his foot the wrong way and then it's no goal for anyone.
It could hit him in the rear end then go in, should be his goal
