Both teams have won 2 of their 3 games on the road, so Leafs have road ice advantage.
Sadly, once again the refs insert themselves into the outcome by making a few weak calls, changing the momentum of the game,  then not calling blatant penalties.

Oh well the Bruins weren't going to lie down for this one, let's hope for a good outcome Tuesday.

What do you expect from Gord Dwyer? He single-handedly ran the Marlies out of the playoffs their last year on the Rock. Leafs didn't lose because of the officiating, but if I had to pick one referee not to officiate this Game 6, it would have been him.

This is typical Gord Dwyer. He's always hated the Leafs.

The last year the Marlies were on the Rock, he singlehandedly drove them out of the playoffs.

Not necessarily. Principle shooting would have been done, but pickup shots and editorial changes can be done quite close to an episode's actual air date.

There's also a strong likelihood that it was shot both ways in the first place.

They have the season's story planned out lone before, scripts written, etc. They would have been well into shooting the back half of the season by the time that episode aired. There's no way they would have gone through major re-writes and re-shooting because some fans were upset. This is not a show that's been afraid of killing off well-liked characters, or upsetting the fanbase. If they wanted Glenn dead at mid-season, he would have been dead. If they wanted to leave the question lingering, it would have been left lingering.

Like I said, they likely would have shot it both ways during principle shooting and pick up shots and re-edits are always an option.

But you are certainly free to believe what you like.

I had read that TWD producers had planned to
"revive" Glenn in a later show, even perhaps the S6 cliffhanger ending but the uproar was so great they brought him back
sooner than planned - and his scenes have seemed out of sync with what else is happening in the storyline.

That seems really unlikely. They would have had the episodes filmed and edited long before there was any uproar about Glenn maybe being dead. That sounds more like someone out there trying to justify the show making a decision they disagreed with.

If we could only graft Grabner's skating onto Gauthier's bod, we'd have ... well, I don't know what we'd have.

8 games in 13 nights, kicking off with a South Beach party hangover is a great recipe for tank nation.

Loov was hurt at practice yesterday, tried to go today but left mid-way. Brennan gets the call-up. Brennan has 55 points in 59 games this season, good for 3rd overall in the AHL. He has 13 more points than the next highest scoring defenceman.

A big portion of the twitter-verse likes to moan about Brennan never getting a legit chance in the NHL despite his amazing AHL numbers. When he was up for that handful of games last season though he may have been the slowest skater I've ever seen in the league since Jason Allison. Which is a shame really because even with flaws in his defensive game if he could skate he'd clearly be a legitimate offensive threat in the NHL.

Great observation. Dave Poulin was just on TSN and commented that Brennan's issue is his defensive game, bad decisions away from the puck that end up costing the team. He was largely complementary overall, but mentioned this as an issue.

He's averaging more ice time in Ottawa than he was here this season, just over 2 more minutes per game.

Has 6 points in 8 games so far.

It's like the Rask trade all over again.

Pretty much.

But with way less Raycroft!

38 wins! :P

That goal last nite probably forced them to throw in the pick.

Bernier needs to score a goal next game to sweeten the pot then.

Just a heads up for anyone watching a crappy stream.

This game is being shown for free on the NHL.com

It's free, but you have to turn in your phone to Gary so he can read your text messages first.
