You can tell when it's a stinker of a game, when you only see 4 pages on the game day thread.

Apparently they reported it wrong. Last year it was his right shoulder. This year his left. I don't know... Just what I read.
This injury will have zero effect on Nylander. Leafs winning and losing will have zero effect also.

Just saw that too. Wrong shoulder not the old injury, there is hope this wont be chronic then.

Is Matthews made of glass? To good to be true?

Almost impossible to protect that shoulder, especially when the POs get rough. Can he wear specialized equipment?

Lookit dis

Johnsson-Matthews-Nylander
Marleau-Kadri-Marner
Hyman-Tavares-Kapanen
Lindholm-Gauthier-Brown/Leivo

Firepower line up!

Nylander needs to hurry up. Everyone will know how to take out Mathews come play-off time, that bites. Gauthier is not bad at all, don't know what ppl are talking about, we need some size. Great comeback game...Leafs beat that stifling 90s trap nicely, once they woke up.

Main Leafs Hockey Talk / Re: John Tavares is a Maple Leaf

Marner just won the jackpot.

So, we're expecting:
Matthew: 55g, 50a, 105 pts
Nylander: 35g, 60a, 95 pts
Tavares: 40g, 60a, 100 pts
Marner: 25g, 115a, 135 pts.

Or something like that, right?

115a  ;D ;D  I almost feel sorry for the other team's D with those two on the ice.

If I'm Babcock I'd think about double-shifting Matthews.  He's on his game tonight.

I like that idea, he makes Boston look tired when his line is on.

8
Tick tick... ;)  Shaky hand on bottle day.

If the Leafs D can continue to initiate passes rather than using the boards and the forwards keep moving on, and Andersen excels again -- basically replicating the good works they all put in for Games 5 & 6 -- even with Boston having the line change advantage, the Leafs should be able to eke out the win.

No expectations but for the sake of breaking the losing-to-Boston-in the -playoffs-again 'curse', it would do well for Toronto to emerge victorious.

GO LEAFS GO!

Some pretty good observations here:

Assuming you consider a paywall good observations.

For those who have access to it.  :)

Besides, it's nothing other than what we already know from having seen the Leaf losses and wins so far.

Probably just stuff re-worded from this board anyhow  8)

Key to winning this game is - Have fun, everything will follow!

I didn't have an Irish coffee this morning to settle my nerves.

Nope.

No I did not.

I wanna see what your posts look like around 7:30.  ;D

If Komarov is ready for Wednesday, would you put him in for Johnsson?
I think I would, we sacrifice some speed but Bruins were owning the walls in end.

You don't change a winning lineup like that. Leafs have won 3 of 4 without him. You take your best shot in game 7 with the group that got you there.

Komarov will only be 88% ready anyhow (right Leafs Doctor?)

Plekanec is the greatest trade deadline acquisition ever and I never said anything to suggest otherwise.

I'm glad you said that so I didn't have to.   :P 8) 8) 8) 8)

Also LOL at Shanahan's reaction.  It's like he forgot to be all loufaced for a nanosecond.

loufaced <<  ;D ;D ;D

So much for Tuukka Rask's guarantee.

Hopefully he'll do another jinxing guarantee again. That line was only meant to be pulled off once (Messier)
