Just a reminder at how weird paths to and from success look like.

I’m going to wait until the end of the off-season to really care about evaluating all the moves but that Mrazek contract right now is a huge weight on the roster.  If you are offering a million more to a guy who can’t stay healthy I just don’t understand Dubas’ mindset.

Im absolutely not tied down to Campbell.  He was good for the team.  He wasn’t the reason we lost this year but he was also mediocre for large chunks too.  That might be injury but that still is a knock against him because he needs to be healthy to produce and he has had more than his share of injuries.  If we can upgrade there I’m fine with it but I really don’t understand the numbers

The team definitely needs another banger for the top 6.  I know they were hoping it would be Ritchie and they failed miserably but they need to find someone and if Tavares moves to the wing I have no idea how you find a Center who fits that role because Kerfoot on the second line as a Center I don’t particularly care for.

I’m thinking we saw the last of Nylander and the team is going to be worse for it.
At the end of the day, I don't really care anymore who stays or goes and if the team is better or not on paper. The regular season is fun but ultimately being an excellent regular season team is meaningless if you can't make it out of the first round. They can all go save for Matthews for the right price as far as I'm concerned and if that gets us out of round 1 then so be it.

Interesting to hear him say that the Leafs last offer to Campbell was around $2.75mil and that he doesn't expect him back though.

There's still a lot of time for that to change. I'm also curious as to when that offer was made. I'm not convinced he'll get significantly better offers on the open market this summer - though, the goalie market could be very interesting, as there are a number of (mostly bad) teams who will probably be looking to add but not a ton of proven starters as UFAs.
They give Campbell a low ball offer but gave Mrazek an extra mil in free agency last year? This is just craziness.

I know it doesn't mean much... But the Penguins were really unlucky. We thought the Leafs last round may have been unlucky, nothing on the Pens.

I’m just gutted right now.  The Leafs put it all on the line there.  Can’t hold it against them.

One team got a goal called back.  The other team got gifted a 5 on 3 when trailing.  Officiating was shit in this game.  The amount of holding Tampa got away with behind the play was absurd.
The series reffing was garbage. That hit on Bunting should've been something. They gifted Tampa calls last game for them to tie and win the game. It's atrocious. At this point I'm thinking there are enough refs that are as tired as the rest of the league about hearing about the Leafs so they job them.

Jobbed. See you in the offseason.

7
Leaf players gets checked hard without puck. No call. Frig this.

8
How did they not call that trip on Nylander.

9
Marner sticked in face, no call.

11
Knee on knee on Matthews, no call. Frig this league.

Okay so the lightning can interfere with Kampf for the Lightning goal but if the Leafs score then it's a penalty. My son Gary is going to be so disappointed
The lightning can basically do whatever they want, even murder Bunting.

13
That is a bull#$#% interference call considering what they let go. God friging damnit.

14
What even happened??

The fans need to be louder.
Of all things, that's the issue?
