Given his clearly advanced age I'm guessing retirement.

A jump to ESPN could also make sense.

I understood that reference.

The regular season finally comes to an end this afternoon with an epic tilt to decide whether or not Vancouver finished last in the North and ends up with the 8th best lottery odds or if the Flames can ensure the North division does not end the year with 3 teams in the bottom 10.

Also, there some are other games going tonight, but they're not regular season games, so who cares about them? ;D

ffs

If the cap is going to be flat teams like the Leafs need to object hard on cap relief options.  I get that you are running risks with long term deals but it’s pretty bull ship thst garbage that it is going to take 5 years for the cap to go up when the NHL just signed a considerably larger national TV feal

Even if he wasn't having 1 or 2 below-par seasons for him that he could very well rebound from, I don't think he'd be interested in signing with a Canadian team (something I think Friedman or someone said too) so he'd be a one-and-done and probably not worth the cost.
