Binnington on whether the collision with Kadri-Rosen could have been avoided: "It's a physical sport. It's playoff time and he's going to go to the net hard and that's how it goes. I don't think he intentionally was trying to do what he did to me, for me to get injured. (MORE)— Jeremy Rutherford (@jprutherford) May 31, 2022

Like, he already acknowledges that the play that injured him was not intentional and just hockey.

Easy enough to focus on the specifics of the inherent danger of an empty bottle and a stick swing and a miss and dismiss it, but that's a swing and a miss of the point. Throwing something at people off ice is not hockey; swinging sticks at head level is not hockey. It's just a straight up intentional, emotional outburst through physical actions that easily scale extreme if unchecked, and giving Binnington a continual pass on this behaviour is shameful.
