For those that run this board there is a Goodwill Banner Advert at the top of the page recently.  Goodwill has just shut down in Toronto leaving many employees stranded.  They are the only "Charity" where virtually none of the monies are filtered down. they basically are a con organization and should not be represented on these boards.

As a very heavy Eagles fan, sorry to report that Glenn Frey passed away on Monday. One of the all time greats is gone.  God, what is happening this year so far: Bowie, Rickman and now Frey

If you have been to Cave Creek or Carefree in Arizona, I sadly report that the famous Buffalo Chip burned to the ground on Thanksgiving Day (US).  Looks like arson.  The Chip as we affectionatly refer to it, was great for the Friday night mini rodeo and piss up.  I hope the rebuild quickly!
This was also the hang out for Packers fans. Most of the bars on the Cave Creek road are affiliated with NFL franchises.

Now that we have traded off many of our bright young prospects who are the most promising pitchers in our system. I am not that well versed with the Jays minor leagues as I am with the Leafs. Any info would be appreciated. Also when is the next MLB draft?

I say he scores 47. Why don't we all pitch in a 10 spot and send the winner takes all at the close of next season?

Just got back from Vegas and had a look at the Arena under construction. This place is going to be awesome, top notch. From speaking to many folks there I am almost 100% sure that Vegas will have a team. They are not spending that much money for an AHL team

Sam Carrick is going to be the 4th line Centre this year, bet on it.

One of the most interesting things to happen in the last two days whilst the tank goes on to its inevitable conclusion is the signing of what appears to be two very talented prospects into the Leaf gene pool.
It seems all the credit goes to Mark Hunter for both signings.  I have a feeling Mr. Hunter will be one of the key players in us assembling a much better team in the very near future.
I can imagine Mark growing up a Leaf fan but unlike us has the knowledge and skill set to help build a team that we can be proud of and contend.
I can't imagine a worse season than this one and hopefully we will rise like a Phoenix, out of the ashes. Good work so far Mark and keep pulling rabbits out of hat.

Pylon Phaneuf traded to Coyotes as the desert needed a large pylon to anchor it from dust storms.
